Contains copies of private deeds arranged mainly by grantors, one royal Inspeximus and, at the beginning, Pope Lucius III’s privileges to the Premonstratensian Order (1183).
An 18th C transcript is in College of Arms, S. Pegge’s MS Collections, vol 8. Used by S. Pegge, Hist Account of Beauchief Abbey (1801), vii -x etc.
